              Sue Schultz, Director

I have a Bachelor's degree in Business                         Administration with a concentration in                           Management from Monmouth University in New Jersey. I worked for Allstate Insurance Company for over ten years until I relocated to Surprise, Arizona with my husband, Scott, and our two children, Michael, 24, and Lauren, 18, over fifteen years ago. Once our daughter started preschool, I was lucky enough to be offered a job working at her school. I fell in love with working with young children immediately. Over the past ten years, I have been working in early childhood education in many different capacities. In my spare time I enjoy reading and cooking, as well as traveling with my family.

              Kristen Pumo, Teacher
I grew up in New Jersey, went to Knox                          College in Illinois, and moved to Arizona over                20 years ago to attend ASU for my M.A. in      History and Public History. I worked as a Museum Educator at the Arizona Museum of Natural History for 7 years and taught hands-on classes, workshops and educational summer camps. Since becoming a stay at home mom to our four boys (now ages 19, 17, 14 and 12), I have taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. In 2015, I started teaching preschool and I knew immediately that this was the ministry that I was called to do! I believe that preschool is a time to nurture and encourage creativity and curiosity, and to build a strong foundation for a life-long love of learning.

                Nancy Parker, Teacher

I attended college at Arizona State                              University where I studied Computer                            Science Engineering. Once I had my children, Brooklynn and Jackson, now 18 and 14, I became fascinated by how young children learn and grow. I went back to school to receive my Associate of Arts in Elementary Education. I love watching children learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. I have taught preschool for the past ten years and I know without a doubt that this is my calling. I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking.

                 Paula Mendias, Teacher

I graduated from Northern Arizona                               University with a Bachelor’s degree in                           Elementary Education. During my time as a stay-at-home mom to our three children (ages 15, 13, and 9), I worked as a substitute teacher for Preschool through 5th grade. I love working with preschoolers and watching them grow. I believe preschool is an excellent time for children to strengthen socially, emotionally and academically. I grew up in Glendale, Arizona and moved to Surprise over 10 years ago. I enjoy spending time with my family, doing outdoor activities, reading and fun crafts.
